About Me

Louise Jackson BSc (Hons) MSc MCMA

I am a certified Diet & Nutrition Advisor based in Glasgow, Scotland who is passionate about improving physical and mental wellbeing by promoting good nutrition and positive lifestyle choices.

I graduated from University and began a professional scientific career working within the diagnostic field of Biomedical Science and have spent 8 years working between NHS and Private Healthcare. Working within the healthcare setting, I developed invaluable knowledge of human physiology and disease which has been beneficial whilst spending two years undertaking my Nutrition qualifications.

My journey from working in Science to opening up a pathway into becoming a Diet and Nutrition Advisor was a result of personal experience with physical health issues associated with gluten intolerance. In late 2019, I began to suffer from a range of symptoms namely fatigue, severe body aches/pains and digestive issues, I began to journal when my symptoms were exacerbated and discovered after a matter of weeks that my symptoms were at their worst when consuming gluten rich foods.

At this point, I withdrew gluten from my diet and I began to observe that within a short period of time, my symptoms had significantly reduced and I began to see notable improvements in both my physical wellbeing and I felt more mentally focused and alert . This radical change in my dietary lifestyle also encourged me to focus on improving other areas of my lifestyle and inspired me to begin studying Nutrition Qualifications. I have now successfully to date obtained three CMA accredited diplomas all of which have equipped me with a broad knowledge of Nutrition and an array of techniques which help to boost and support overall wellbeing.

My personal experience with food intolerance and becoming qualified as a Diet and Nutrition Advisor has truly changed my life and has shown me first-hand that our daily eating habits do play a significant role in overall physical and mental wellbeing. It can truly be said that "We are what we eat".

During 2021, I began my first Advisory consultations with clients who were based in the UK and USA. The success I achieved in creating personalised meal plans, advising on methods to help boost wellbeing and hearing how my advice had made such positive impacts on my clients day to day lives is what has led me to establishing my business. â€‹

I look forward to working with new clients in the coming years to help many more individuals live a fuller and healthier life.
